St Francis Hospice

On Friday 18th May, Eric Pickles - MP for Brentwood & Ongar - visited a St Francis Hospice charity shop with four bags of donations. He also went to the Dying Matters drop-in event in the hospice’s education centre, and spent some time in the day hospice.

Mr Pickles was impressed with what he saw at the hospice. He said, “Having spoken to some of the patients, it seems you’re doing a pretty good job! And I’m amazed at how much money you raise every year. All the local MPs, whose constituents you serve, are terrifically proud of you.”
