The local MP for Dewsbury,Simon Reevell, supported the Choose Charity Shops campaign by visiting the Kirkwood Hospice shop in Denby Dale to see the valuable work they do in raising money for Kirkwood, the Hospice for Kirklees which is based in Dalton, Huddersfield.  The Hospice cares for local people who face life-threatening illness, for example cancer, late stage heart failure or severe lung disease throughout the Kirklees area, including Batley, Dewsbury, Cleckheaton, Mirfield and Holmfirth.  Thanks to the generosity of their supporters, all care at Kirkwood is provided free of charge to patients.
