26th May: Some charities are still getting coverage from the campaign, as newspapers receive word of MP donations, like Eric Pickles, reported in the Brentwood Weekly News and Jane Ellison, reported in the Wandsworth Guardian.

24th May: We have had more MP donation pictures through, of Andy Love's visit to Sue Ryder Care - as seen below, with the Edmonton Green shop staff - and Simon Reevell going to Kirkwood Hospice.

23rd May: We have received photos of Eric Pickles - MP for Brentwood & Ongar - who visited a St Francis Hospice charity shop and the hospice itself, last week.

23rd May: The Worcester branch of Cats Protection were visited by the Mayor & Mayoress, Dr David Tibbut and Jane Tibbut, who brought a donation along.

17th May: Comedian Patrick Monahan visited the YMCA shop on Goodge St in London, where he was delighted to be "mugged" by the Shop Support Manager for his donations.

16th May: Have added pictures of Angela Smith MP visiting Barnsley Hospice in Penistone, and Minister Attwood at Marie Curie's Lisburn Road shop in Belfast.

15th May: Jack Lopresti, MP for Filton & Bradley Stoke, has visited the St Peter’s Hospice shop in Downend.

15th May: We have put up pictures of a donation from the Mayor of Dudley, who visited the the Cats Protection shop in Stourbridgeon Monday.

15th May: The manager of the NWAA's Garstang shop has dressed her volunteers as mannequins in donated clothing, and had them on window display.

14th May: A trio of splendid comedians - Ben Target, Thom Tuck and Tom Goodliffe - made a donation of unwanted items to Sue Ryder Care in Camden on Monday morning at 10am. And we have the pictures to prove it.

14th May: Ed Vaizey MP made a donation on Friday to Helen & Douglas House, so recently the nominated charity for Jimmy Carr's celebrity 'Deal or No Deal'.

14th May: We have garnered coverage on the campaign in The Daily Telegraph, The Express (online), The FT (online) and the Metro. We are tracking all the media coverage here.

14th May: Comedian Patrick Monahan, who will be presenting the Awards at the Association's Annual Conference, has agreed to make a donation this week.

12th May: Nick Clegg made a donation in his Sheffield Hallam constituency, to the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity shop.

12th May: Mayoress Jane Tibbutt and Mayor David Tibbutt visited the Cats Protection shop in Worcester, on Saturday, with bags of donations.

10th May: Sue Baker, manager of the YMCA shop in Cheltenham, got in touch to let us know of the special events the shop will be running next week. You can read about them here.

9th May: Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has confirmed he will be making a donation as part of the Choose Charity Shops campaign.

9thMay: London’s best comedians - including Ben Target, Thom Tuck and Tom Goodliffe - will be making a donation of unwanted items to Sue Ryder Care in Camden on Monday morning at 10am.

8thMay: Nick Hurd, Member of Parliament for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner and the Minister for Civil Society, today donated to his local RSPCA charity shop in Eastcote as part of the Choose Charity Shops campaign. He also offered a message of support for the campaign, which you can read here.

7th May: We have our 100th charity sign up as participants in the campaign; many of these are planning regional events in their shops. Do get in touch with us if you would like to find out more.
